Good and effective sleep is quintessential for the "Mind and Body".

Based on current estimates 50 million to 70 million people in the US are enduring sleep disorders.

Having healthy sleep patterns and effective oxygenation during sleep improves immunity against getting sick, helps to stay at healthy weight, lower the risk for Diabetes, Cardiac Arrhythmias and Heart failure, Kidney disease and Mental Health conditions.

COPD is a progressive and debilitating chronic lung disease that has a significant medical and financial burden and is the third leading cause of death in the US. It also increases the risk of lung cancer. "Indigo Partners" is committed to bringing the multi-faceted approach required for early diagnosis and intervention that will help patients breathe better and live longer and more productive lives.

The team is supported by the most comprehensive polysomnographic solution delivered by Nihon Kohden technology and data acquisition.

The center delivers sleep diagnostic testing both through home studies and in lab studies. The center also promptly and seamlessly provides the care coordination to receive the medical equipment required to treat sleep disorders immediately after diagnosis. Restful Sleep will continue to support the patients through their journey and restore effective sleep patterns and good health.

Pulmonary Function Lab

Our Pulmonary function Lab provides a variety of non invasive testing that show how well your lungs are working.

The basic test called "Spirometry" measures amount of air lungs can hold and how forcefully one can empty air from lungs. The test is used to screen for chronic lung diseases like COPD and Asthma and also to monitor the disease course and guide treatment.

Several other comprehensive but pain free tests such as lung volume test, diffusion capacity test and exercise testing will also be provided through our Pulmonary Function lab.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Our Pulmonary Rehab program provides patients with chronic lung disease a path to breathing better and having an improved quality of life. The Pulmonary rehabilitation program usually lasts a few months. The journey begins with a comprehensive assessment of your physical and emotional health as well as your nutritional status. A multi-functional team of physicians, respiratory therapist, nutritionist and mental health providers will guide your course through the program and will continue to support you through home based therapy after completion of the in-lab program.

The team will work with you to improve endurance and muscle strength, giving you the ability to do your activities of daily living independently.

You will be taught energy conserving techniques and ways to breathe easier.

Nutritional support and guidance will be provided to enhance muscle mass and manage your weight.

At the end of the program, you should experience better endurance, less COPD symptoms and exacerbations and improved quality of life.

Our evolution...

The last two decades of treating chronic diseases from Diabetes to Depression and seeing cancer diagnosis on the rise made myself and my associates align our purpose and passion into creating innovative pathways to treat the fundamental causes of disease state in our population.

As the President of Dr. Mary Tilak and Associates marytilakmd.com, my journey in NWI started as an Internist trying to find the solution to a spectrum of medical conditions that always presented in multiples - Diabetes, High Blood pressure, Heart and Kidney disease, Depression and Anxiety, Breast , Lung and Colon cancers to name a few. In most cases I found the common problem to be Obesity, Sleep disorder and Depression. We committed as a team to address the "Whole Patient".

Our transformative vision was to deliver healthcare to our patients, enhanced by technology and driven by patient and population specific data, anchored by the Quarter Back - PCP (primary care provider) collaborating with needed specialty care bringing shared decision and driving better clinical outcomes. In order to  treat the "Whole Patient" we agreed that we needed to find the cure for the root causes including Obesity, Sleep Disorders and Depression.

Our collective passion and commitment to our community brought us together to  create "Indigo Partners"  that will deliver comprehensive evaluation and intervention for the spectrum of Sleep and Chronic Lung Disorders.
